What are Vicking kayaks made from?
Every Vicking kayak is molded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) — UV and heat resistant, so it won’t crack, fade, or warp in Mauritius’s tropical sun.
How long is the warranty?
Every kayak comes with a 1-year hull warranty.
Which model should I choose?
It depends on how you’ll use it. Nova is our most popular all-rounder with a single fin drive. Tango seats two with a twin fin drive. Harman is our XL single-seat kayak with a propeller drive, built for serious fishing. Codia is a compact, budget-friendly paddle kayak. Happiness 2 is built for two adults and a child. Do the kayaks come with paddles and seats included?
Yes — every model ships with paddle(s), seat(s), and rod holder(s) as standard. See the “Full specifications” table on each product page for exact counts.

Accessories & Care
Can I add an electric motor to my kayak?
We offer both a side-mount and a central-mount motor. The side-mount version comes with its own mounting bracket and fits any model. The central-mount version takes the place of the pedal drive system, so message us to confirm it suits the kayak you’re choosing.
What’s the difference between the standard and heavy-duty trolley?
The heavy-duty trolley skips the kayak’s hull plugs entirely, which reduces wear on bigger, heavier kayaks like the Harman.
How do I look after my kayak?
Rinse it with fresh water after use, especially after time in salt water, and store it out of direct sunlight when you’re not on the water. This helps keep the hull and fittings in good condition for years.
